Kuriva Kids is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

Data we collect and why

We collect your name, email, billing details and order history to process purchases, deliver download links, respond to questions and handle refunds. We use this data to fulfil our contract with you and meet applicable legal obligations.

Email marketing

We send marketing emails only with your consent, including consent given through our free sample and newsletter forms. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by writing to info@kurivakids.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect messages needed to fulfil your order.

Cookies and optional tracking

Essential cookies support the shop and checkout. Optional analytics and advertising cookies or pixels, including Google Analytics and Meta Pixel where enabled, load only after you consent. You can reject optional cookies or change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer.

Optional cookies and pixels are never loaded before you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

Service providers

We use Shopify, our email provider and payment processors to operate the store, deliver emails and process payments. They process the data needed for those tasks. Some providers (such as Shopify) may process data outside the EU/UK. When this happens, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

Order and payment records: as long as required by tax and accounting law (in Italy, generally 10 years).

Customer account and support emails: up to 24 months after your last contact or order, unless needed longer for legal reasons.

Email marketing list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email on a suppression list so we don't contact you again.

Cookie and analytics data: as set out in the cookie banner, and no longer than 13 months.

Your privacy rights

Under the EU GDPR and UK GDPR, where applicable, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. You may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw consent. Some data may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.

Write to info@kurivakids.com to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including the Italian Garante or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

We reply to every request within one month. If a request is complex, we may extend this by up to two more months, and we'll tell you why.

Children's data

Our books are bought by parents and other grown-ups. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact info@kurivakids.com so we can address it.

Our books do not require any personal information about your child. Please don't send us your child's name, photos or drawings by email; if you do, we'll only use them to answer you and then delete them.
